TO BE FILED: A LETTER FROM MARION KUEHNLE JUNE 20, 1944

"Dear Roman:

Well Ro I haven't heard from you for quite some time. I didn't know when you said "So-long" in your last letter that it would be another year before I would hear from you again. Gee that is an awful long time, isn't it? Well I have been thinking of you for a long time. I thought one of these days I would receive a letter from you. By the way I got your address from Eleanor.

I have a new job working for Eddie Dietrick. Betty Caplis is going to have a baby soon. Say do you know a Sgt by the name of Alfred Zizzo he is in Company B. I received a letter from him asking for a picture and a letter. I answered his letter but I didn't send him a picture. He said he wanted to enter it in a pin up girl contest that his Company was having. You know Roman that was the first letter I received from a soldier or service man in 11 months.

You know Roman I have a niece that advertises for baby soap in the "Good Housekeeping Magazine".

By the way how are you? Did you get married or engaged while you have been in the Army?

Well I hope you can find time to drop me a few lines.

Love
Mary*

Editor's Note: So Jack's letter with Yzzi's name signed to it has sort of got her curiosity aroused, eh? Well, I think I am going to answer her letter just for the fun of it.
