Dear Aunty Clara,

12:00 Saturday

To continue with a narration as to my physical well-being. I fell almost immediately into a troubled and restless sleep. All night long it was the same old story - first cold and then warm. I'd twist, turn, wake up, toss, sweat, shiver until morning came at last. The fellow said I mumbled and talked in my sleep all night long (probably during the feverish stage). The first hour or two, I was dead on my feet this morning but gradually things have become better until now I just have a cold, a headache, and a general fatigue. To help things along I have been drinking fruit juices and will probably sweat some more of the cold out this evening. I hope to be in bed by nine o'clock - after I have written one or two letters.

By the way, I doubt if it is malaria I have although for a while I wasn't as sure that it could have been. It sometimes hits with symptoms like that. For further reports as to my health, see your next letters.

So-long,
/s/ Roman
