My dear Renee,

Friday

Thank you very, very much for your nice letter. I was very glad to receive it as how it was from one of my special girlfriends. Another thing I was glad to hear about was that you liked the shells and the bracelet from New Caledonia. Did your mother have a necklace and bracelet made out of the shells yet? I imagine that would be very nice to wear.

Hey, Renee, are you living in your new home yet? Tell me all about it, will you? I like to hear about news like that. And did your Mommy, Daddy Bill and Richard buy all those trees which you said they were talking about?

And how did your Beta like Florida? I knew that he was going down there for Aunty Clara had written to me saying that he stopped in at our house in Cicero for a few days.

I've moved from New Caledonia to another island here in the South Pacific Ocean but we aren't allowed to tell the name of this island we are now on.

You asked me how well I was feeling and I'm happy to say that I am feeling alright now although yesterday I had a tooth ache and had to have my tooth taken out.

Please write and tell me how you are and what you are doing during the summer vacation and say hello to everyone for me.

So-long,   /s/ Roman   Roman
