Dear Aunty Clara,

Wednesday

Just for the novelty of it, I've decided to write a letter in long hand.

I suppose that if I tried to get all the information of two type-written V-mails in these hand written kind, I would have to write a dozen letters a day.

Remember when I told you that at one time we could see the outline of the full moon during a 1st quarter phase? Last night there was just a sliver of moon yet the rest of it was very distinct and clear. I couldn't possibly imagine how the sun was managing to go around curves to light up the dark side. Then it hit me that that was a reflection of earthlight traveling from the sun, to earth, to moon and back to earth again.

So-long,
