Dear Aunty Clara:

I began a letter last night but fell asleep typing it. Since then I have not had the opportunity to complete it. There is a lot of news so I will not send it until it is finished. This is just to let you know I am still alive and that we are not gone as yet. Of course, you know all about that already so I needn't repeat it. Since then, all talk concerning our movement has become a military secret once again even though the 351st Engineers (the next outfit) knows just when we are moving and doesn't make any bones about spreading it about. Even the general who addressed the boys in the parade yesterday says in a few days you fellows will be moving from Camp White etcetera. Yet they persist in calling the movement a secret. That is the way the Army works, I guess.

Solong for the time being,
Roman

P.S. In case you have forgotten our A.P.O. it is
