THE MEDICAL FACILITIES, THE REGIMENT AND HOSPITAL ACCESS
WERE CUT OFF FROM ROUTE #1 FOR A PERIOD OF 48 HOURS.
FORDING WAS REQUIRED FOR SEVERAL ADDITIONAL DAYS. MOST OF
THE CANVAS AND TENTING WAS STRUCK AT THE START OF THE STORM
AND WAS RE-ERECTED.
ON THE 31ST CAPT. ALISTER M SMITH WAS TRANSFERRED TO
THE 8TH GENERAL HOSPITAL, APO 502.
THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS WERE STARTED:
3RD - CONSTRUCTION OF OFFICERS AND NURSES QUARTERS.
