HAD LEFT ON THE 4TH FOR SFPE TO ACT AS LIAISON OFFICER FOR
THE REGIMENT AT THE PORT. ON THE 19TH TWO ENLISTED MEN,
SGT. OTTO W. REED AND T/4 RICHARD R. HIGGENS DEPARTED CAMP
WHITE ON DETACHED SERVICE TO JOIN LT. SCHAAF IN ESCORTING
THE REGIMENTS IMPEDIMENTA TO ITS OVERSEAS DESTINATION.
