         TRUCK COMPANIES TO THIS HEADQUARTERS WAS CONFIRMED AND MADE

         OF RECORD PER PAR 2, SO 67, HQS GUADALCANAL ISLAND COMMAND,

         DATED 8 MARCH 1945.

         

              THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS WERE STARTED:

         

          9TH - REPAIR OF KUKUM CARGO SHED BY 1393RD ECB

         

         10TH - STARTING AT 2000 HOURS ON THE 10TH AND CONTINUING TO

                 0230 HOURS ON THE 11TH WE RECEIVED 7.85 INCHES OF

                 RAIN. THIS CREATED EROSION TO ROADS, BEACHES, DEPOT

                 AREAS, DOCK AREAS AND DEBRIS PILED UP AT BRIDGE

                 PIERS AND DOLPHINS.
